Summary of Business

Japan Asia Group aims to build Green Communities on a global scale through our three core businesses: Geospatial Information, led by Kokusai Kogyo; Green Energy, led by Japan Asia Group; and Forestry Revitalization, where our goal is to modernize forestry.
We have continued to push the boundaries of geospatial technology to create ever more accurate maps, essential for developing social infrastructure and nation building—the backbone of economic growth. We are providing total solutions that merge our geospatial and urban planning technologies and utilizing our disaster prevention and disaster risk reduction expertise to rebuild Japan’s social infrastructure with renewable energy sources and to create safer, disaster-resistant communities of the future.
From our start in Europe, where in 2004 we developed the world's largest photovoltaic power station, to become a leading developer in both Europe and Japan, we now offer seamless and tailored packages, covering everything from site identification, financing and technical due diligence, right through to keeping the plant running smoothly, long into the future.
Furthermore, we launched a Forest Project Team within Japan Asia Group in 2016. We will maximize the synergistic impact of our core technologies and expertise – geospatial information, green energy, and financial – to showcase the hidden potential value of Japan’s forests (two-thirds of the country) as well as to bring renewed vitality and growth to forestry and timber industries. This will help grow Japan’s GDP, revitalize our regions, and create jobs.
