Supporting each other - urban and rural communities

Our food is mainly supplied by the people in agricultural, mountain and fishing villages, and water and air are produced by sound forest. The urban communities economically support the rural districts. Through various linkages, the urban and rural communities need each other. This is a matter of course but we tend to forget the fact.

New "values" created in the network

JUON NETWORK has the purpose of creating new sense of values and lifestyles by linking people in urban and rural areas. Through coming together of people in urban and rural communities, we support the activities for protecting forest and farming people.

The hints on sustainable society lie in local culture

Not only environment but also diverse cultures and sustainable lifestyles are being lost as a result of devastation of forest and farmland. On the other side, people living in urban communities begin to find the values of rural life from various views. Why don't you have the feeling of linkage between forest, soil and climate and us?

JUON NETWORK thinks that the sustainable country Japan starts from the linkage between the urban communities and the rural districts.
